Privacy policy
This text describes only what the website actually does. It is not a privacy policy approved by legal counsel. Missing particulars are stated plainly.
Controller
Kenzo Schmidt, sole proprietorship, Schmidt Geschichte mit Wert, Kornblumenweg 8, 27330 Asendorf, Germany. Contact: info@schmidtantik.de.
Inquiry form
The “Make an Inquiry” form collects your name, email address, an optional telephone number, a category, a description and confirmation that the details may be used to handle the inquiry. A hidden field is used only to detect spam. If it is filled in, the inquiry is not forwarded. Photos cannot be uploaded on the website. The IP address is kept briefly in the server’s memory to limit repeated inquiries and is not stored in a database.
Email delivery
The website does not store the form data in a database. After submission it is sent to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards it as an email to info@schmidtantik.de. The email address you enter is passed as the reply address. How long FormSubmit or the recipient mailbox keeps the message is not set in this website.
Below the form there is a link to WhatsApp. It opens a chat with no prefilled message. WhatsApp processes the content only if you write there yourself. The website does not receive form data through that link.
Hosting
The application is set up for a Node.js server at Hostinger. Technical access data such as IP address, time and the address requested can appear there in server logs. A retention period and a processing agreement are not recorded in this project.
Fonts, cookies and analytics
To display the pages, the website loads fonts from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser may send your IP address to Google when it does so. No analytics or advertising service is connected. The website does not set its own tracking cookies. Calendly is not used.
Legal basis
The inquiry concerns a possible appraisal or purchase. The intended basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The consent box is not pre-ticked. Where processing is based on that consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and you may withdraw consent for the future where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If the seat in Asendorf is decisive, that is likely the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover.
